On Sunday, May 19th, Dada Life closed down the weekend at the nightclub at Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand with a lively performance. The Swedish electro house duo consisting of Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom took over the turntables as they debuted the first of many exclusive performances to thousands of partygoers, local influencers at the new Vegas hot spot.

Recognized for their high-energy, live sets and chart-topping hits, the electronic music duo anxiously took to thestage at 1 a.m. Immediately afterstepping foot in the booth, the energy in the packed main room skyrocketed as they spun the first track. Known for having bananas and champagne at every event, the pair introduced their “Rules of Dada” to Hakkasan for the first time. Large inflatables of bananas and champagne bottles flew threw the air as the impressive dancers, also dressed in banana costumes, showcased a pulsating choreographed routine as guests stayed on their feet dancing all night long.

Prior to the performance, CEO of Angel Management Group Neil Moffitt presented them with a commemorative-framed gold disc to celebrate the first-ever performance of their exclusive event series at Hakkasan Las Vegas.

On Thursday, May 16, Hakkasan Nightlcub at MGM Grand welcomed beloved DJ duo NERVO as they made their debut at Las Vegas’ newest nightlife destination. The Thursday night affair was in full effect as celebrated DJ Quintino manned the decks and spun his heart-pumping hits for the packed night spot.
Arriving to the DJ booth around 1 a.m., the Australian sisters Mim and Liv Nervo greeted Quintino as he turned over the turntables to the iconic pair. The energy in the main room erupted as the lights went dim and the floor-to-ceiling LED screen flashed the girls’ name. Putting on an energetic set mixing their most celebrated anthems including “You’re Gonna Love Again” and “Hold On” the blonde beauties kept the party going into the early hours of the morning as confetti burst in the air and Hakkasan’s stunning dancers put on show-stopping performances throughout the evening.
Meanwhile in the Ling Ling Club, reality TV’s favorite couple, Ice-T and Coco of the famed E! series “Ice Loves Coco” partied the night away on the third level of the nightlife mecca. On Saturday, May 11th, the restaurant at Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand was buzzing as it was packed with A-Listers who dined on the world-renowned Cantonese cuisine created by Michelin-star Chef Ho Chee Boon. Singer and songwriter Ke$ha threw a surprise birthday party for one of her creative directors in the private dining room. While Emmy Award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer and wife Kayte Walsh along with actress Vanessa Hudgens and boyfriend Austin Butler of “The Carrie Diaries” also dined at the restaurant for a mutual friend’s birthday.

The mayhem continued as Grammer, Walsh, Hudgens and Butler moved the party to the mainroom of the nightclub. The celeb friends took over a VIP table on the stagenext to the DJ booth as they drank, danced and celebrated all night long. Hudgens was seen dancing throughout the night in a black mini dress as she enjoyed the music by Dutch DJs the Bingo Players were headlining that night with their “Hysteria” event series, exclusive to Hakkasan Las Vegas.

In another VIP table on the stage was Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose. Arriving at 1:30 a.m. along with a large entourage offriends, the rock legend was seen enjoying the music spun by the Bingo Players and was even spotted dancing and partying with the beautiful Hakkasan staff.

Meanwhile Jace One manned the decks in theLing Ling Club and spun an eclectic set to the packed room, which was also filled with celebrities and all-star athletes. Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men was in a VIP booth along with his wife as boxing greats Andre Betro and Jean Pascal were seen partying at the opposite end of the room. Not far from the action was Caron Butler of the Los Angeles Clipppers who danced and partied until the early hours of the morning.

In addition, the highly anticipated Hakkasan Restaurant opened its doors for the first time as A-List celebrities including Hilary Duff and husband former Canadian professional hockey player Mike Comrie, Haylie Duff, Entourage star Adrian Grenier, actor/comedian Aziz Ansari and Tiësto flocked to haute Cantonese hot spot get a taste of the award-winning cuisine.

First to hit the decks in the main room of the nightclub was the gorgeous DJ Bambi who immediately had the festivities in full-effect and had guests on their feet. Stunning atmosphere models and exquisite dancers donning intricate, eye-catching costumes performed their show-stopping choreographed routines to Bambi’s hard-hitting tracks.
The all-encompassing destination continued its third weekend of opening festivities as GRAMMY Award-nominated electronic music icon Tiësto launched his ‘Club Life’ residency and spun his infectious music to a packed house. Meanwhile in Hakkasan Las Vegas’ 10,000-square-foot Ling Ling Club, celebrated New York native DJ and producer Jesse Marco was found behind the turntables spinning for a packed room as choreographed atmosphere dancers dressed in stunning Samurai-inspired outfits enhanced the mood providing guests with non-stop entertainment.
Spotted partying in Ling Ling Club was Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie. Sister Haylie Duff was also seen dancing and hanging out as good friend and DJ Jesse Marco spun a heart-pumping set. Seated next to the Duff sisters was Entourage star Adrian Grenier who sipped cocktails and mingled with the crowd and gorgeous Hakkasan staff. At a table on the dancefloor was funny man Aziz Ansari.

On Saturday, May 4th, Calvin Harris, GRAMMY Award-winning artist and resident DJ of Hakkasan Las Vegas returned to the nightclub to perform to a sold out crowd. Prior to his performance, Harris along with good friend and fellow British singer/songwriter Rita Ora dined on the delicious authentic Cantonese cuisine at the newly opened Hakkasan Restaurant.

In the main room of the nightclub, featured artist Fergie (DJ) kicked off the night and had guests on their feet as he played hit after hit during his pulsating set as gorgeous dancers dressed in elaborate costumes showcased spectacular choreographed acts.

Just after midnight Harris and his guests, including Ora, were escorted from therestaurant and to his VIP table behind the DJ booth in the main room. Afterrelaxing and mingling with friends, the renowned resident DJ stepped into the booth where he took his place behind the turntables and began his heart-pumping set. The energy in the room skyrocketed as fans cheered at the first glimpse of the celebrated artist. Throughout his set, Harris played fan favorites “Feel So Close,” “We Found Love,” “Sweet Nothing” and many more as confetti blasted through the air, keeping guests on their feet into the early hours of the morning.

On Sunday, April 28 the nightclub at Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grandclosed out its action-packed Grand Opening weekend with world-renowned DJ and Producer Laidback Luke. The celebrated artist debuted his “REVOLT” party series, exclusive to Hakkasan Las Vegas, to a sold-out crowd.

At 1:30 a.m., the Dutch heavy weight took over the decks and spun his popular anthems to thousands of partygoers, local influencers and industry. Known for his ‘Laidback’ and cheerful persona, Luke introduced his darker side through his new event series in which the party experience evolved throughout the night as the energy progresses. The explosive performance set partygoers on a journey through Laidback Luke’s music with him in the forefront leading the “REVOLT.”

“Hakkasan Las Vegas is an experience beyond anyone’s imagination,” Luke says. “What I’m doing at Hakkasan will be completely different from anything my fans have seen or heard from me and I’m very excited to be able to celebrate and share this explosive series of events with my fans. On Saturday, April 27th, Las Vegas’ newly opened nightlife destination Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino continued its highly anticipated Grand Opening weekend festivities with a star-studded affair as GRAMMY Award-winning Calvin Harris launched his exclusive residency and spun his widely popular hits to a room full of celebrities and thousands of clubgoers.

To kick off the night, Hakkasan Las Vegas and GQ Magazine hosted a private, VIP event in the beautifully lit restaurant. Champagne, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres welcomed a wonderfully assorted mix of names to the exclusive party, including Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart, Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Mark Salling, Tom Welling, Cheryl Burke and many more.

Around midnight, after chatting it up with attendees at the GQ paqrty, the celebrated resident DJ, Calvin Harris, took his place behind the turntables and began his heart-pumping set. The energy of the main room was noticeably raised with excitement as the dance music master played hit after hit into the early hours of the morning. Confetti dropped and bottles popped as Harris entertained the crowd with “Sweet Nothing,” “Feel So Close, “We Found Love” and many more. Even electronic dance music maven and Hakkasan Las Vegas resident DJ Tiësto got in on the action, joining Calvin Harris to rock out behind the DJ booth for a few songs. Earlier in the day, the “We Found Love” sensation returned to Sin City’s hottest day life destination, Wet Republic, as he manned the decks and spun his hits for the masses. Full of energy, Harris had partygoers flooding the pool decks as they danced into the early hours of the evening.

In Hakkasan’s Ling Ling Club, singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams celebrated his 40th birthday as DJ Irie spun his beats. Thoroughly enjoying the music and company of his friends, Williams was completely surprised around 1 a.m. as the gorgeous Hakkasan Las Vegas cocktail servers brought out an exquisite, three-tiered ombre blue and gold birthday cake, complete with champagne to toast. When asked about why he chose Hakkasan to celebrate his birthday he replied, “First and foremost, the food is amazing. And second of all, I feel like they are ambitious in agreat way – they want to change things up.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Casper Smart held court at a front and center VIP table located on the stage in the main room directly beside Calvin Harris and the DJ booth. Dressed in a beautiful, short black dress and complete with red lipstick, Lopez was spotted toasting champagne with her group of friends and dancing into the evening with a red-jacket clad Casper.

Fresh off of two weekends at the Coachella Valley Music Festival, actress Vanessa Hudgens and actor boyfriend Austin Butler of “The Carrie Diaries” continued their quest for great live music, dancing into the late hours of the night in a shimmery blue All Saints mini dress to Calvin Harris in Hakkasan Nightclub’s main room. The young couple seemed to be notably in-love, taking breaks from their raucous evening of dancing to cuddle and kiss in the corner of the table. Vanessa was clearly excited to check out the new nightclub as she gushed: “There is so much that has gone into this club – I am so excited to check it out, but I’ve only heard the most magnificent things!”

Also spotted partying at Hakkasan Nightclub’s main room was Tom Welling star of the former CW hit series “Smallville,” who was visibly excited to be celebrating his birthday with friends. Arriving around 10:30pm and sitting at a table on the dance floor, Welling and his group made a toast and blew out birthday candles around midnight.

Also seen dancing the night away in the DJ booth was Paris Hilton, who donned a gold dress and blinged out sunglasses. Sitting with boyfriend River Viiperi, who proudly boasted a black hat which read PARIS in large letters across the front, and good pal Brandon Davis, the group sat with friends at a center table, so as not to miss any of the action.

“Dancing With The Stars” pro Cheryl Burke was seen showing off her moves with a group of girl friends,while GLEE” star Mark Salling was also spotted sipping cocktails throughout the evening and dancing into the early hours of the morning with close pals.

On Thursday night (April 25), The Strip’s newly opened nightlife mecca Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand kicked off the highly anticipated Grand Opening weekend festivities with headlining DJ Steve Aoki as he debuted the first of his exclusive “Neon Future” parties to thousands of excited fans.

Just after 1 a.m. clubgoers could not hold their excitement any longer as they began cheering, “Aoki, Aoki, Aoki!” and right before 1:30 a.m. the lights in the nightclub went dim, the energy of the crowd exploded and the celebrated DJ and producer appeared in the DJ booth dawning a Native American headdress with creatively installed LED lighting.

“What’s up Las Vegas, make some noise for Hakkasan!” Aoki shouted as he began his mesmerizing set full of hard-hitting beats.

As the night went on the breathtaking, two- level LED screen projected custom-made visuals that transported guests into a futuristic world envisioned by Aoki himself. Spinning his heart-pumping hits including “Living’ My Love,” “I’m In The House” while also debuting a few of his brand new remixes, the California-native put on a high-energy show as he was found jumping in the DJ booth, climbing atop the decs to spray his fans with champagne and selecting a few lucky devotees to crowd surf on a giant inflatable mattress.

“This is the grand opening of Hakkasan and I have been waiting for this day to party with all you crazy people!” Aoki stated as he stood atop the booth and asked the nightclub to pose with him for a photo so he could remember this day.

Throughout the action-packed set futuristic themed dancers appeared dressed in a variety of eye-catching outfits as they performed numerous intricate routines to a number of Aoki’s fan favorite hits.

Just before taking over the DJ booth, Aoki was presented with a commemorative-framed gold disc by CEO of Angel Management Group Neil Moffitt to celebrate the first-ever performance of his exclusive event series and the official Grand Opening weekend celebration.

Meanwhile, the Ling Ling Club welcomed famed DJ Jessica Who as she manned the decks and kept the packed room on their feet into the early hours of the evening.

Earlier in the evening Hakkasan Las Vegas opened its doors for an exclusive blue carpet affair with VEGAS Magazine welcoming Sin City socialites, industry influencers and local celebrities including Nate Morris and Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men, Donny Osmond, Brad Garrett, Jabbawockeez, Jaymes Vaughn and James Davis of Chippendales and The Amazing Race and more.
